Ten years ago, I surprised everyone, including myself, by quitting the job I loved to start my own business.
For 15 years I’d worked my way up the ladder and finally held my dream position reporting directly to the CEO. But, after my first daughter was born, I knew I wanted to find a way to work flexibly around my new family.
I had no idea how to start and I was worried I wouldn’t be taken seriously as a new Mum who didn’t speak the local language, but I knew I had to at least try so I got to work.
A decade on and I haven’t looked back – not even once!
