MAMAGORA is an Association founded in 2018.
WE SUPPORT mothers to enter or re-enter the workforce, connect, co-work on our online platform and in the real world. We invite everyone to participate in creating a more diverse, more equal, and family-friendly work-life-scene in Switzerland. Join us to take action together to redefine our contribution to work, and to choose how we strike the balance between work and home.
OUR GOAL is to build a community that will lead the change for working mothers to take action together to redefine our contribution to work, to choose how we strike the balance between work and home in order to keep our families intact, and ultimately revolutionize the workplace.
TOGETHER, WE EMPOWER MOTHERS to make deep connections, gain confidence, access tools and take the decisive first step to journey beyond self-discovery into meaningful work.
THE AGORA
The AGORA used to be the central public space in ancient Greek city-states. The word means gathering places or assembly and the agora was the center of the athletic, artistic, spiritual, and political life of the city. This fits perfectly the idea of MAMAGORA as an assembly of thought, discussion, help, sale, and promotion for MAMAs in Switzerland.
UNITY MAKES US STRONG
The conditions for working mothers in Switzerland are difficult. Despite being highly qualified many of us struggle to get challenging and interesting jobs that still allow us a fair balance between work and family life. There is so much energy, power, and synergy in putting together our professional talent, ideas, and capacity! We need to support each other – and this is now possible within the MAMAGORA community. Online and offline.
